My Mum has become obsessed with buying art, (mostly from graff or street artists) and our house is ram packed, we've hardly got any wall space left, we've had to sell old paintings to make way for new ones!!! This is the latest edition to the family.....
It's called "The crown is mine" and is done only using spray paint.
I love it because of her funny expression and the life in her eyes. She reminds me of a friend of mine. Its by far my favorite in the collection.
The artist is called 'Case'. He is a german guy from a crew called Ma'claim, (the same crew as Akut from Herakut). He has a show in the Signal Gallery called "Never odd or even" and all the pieces are based on the 'Alice in Wonderland' story. All of the paintings are done only using spray paint (which left me stunned!) and are done on wood or cardboard.
