NEW EDITION TO THE FAMILY
My Mum has become obsessed with buying art, (mostly from graff or street artists) and our house is ram packed, we've hardly got any wall space left, we've had to sell old paintings to make way for new ones!!! This is the latest edition to the family.....
It's called "The crown is mine" and is done only using spray paint.
I love it because of her funny expression and the life in her eyes. She reminds me of a friend of mine. Its by far my favorite in the collection.
The artist is called 'Case'. He is a german guy from a crew called Ma'claim, (the same crew as Akut from Herakut). He has a show in the Signal Gallery called "Never odd or even" and all the pieces are based on the 'Alice in Wonderland' story. All of the paintings are done only using spray paint (which left me stunned!) and are done on wood or cardboard.
Here are a few more.......she nearly bought the Knight but he was too huge!!

Jay killed it on Wednesday no doubt and Benji held it down spinning classic after classic whilst we all waited for Jay to arrive. FLAVA D
Flava D is the first female to have been signed to Wiley's label Eski Beat, I've known the name for a while and always assumed she was a guy! I had the pleasure of meeting this lady down at the RBMA studios the other day and heard her cooking up some grimy beats. She produces right across the board from Hip Hop to Grime and Dubstep. I've got my eye on this lady and hope to see her playing out more throughout the year...

BENJI B 2006 J DILLA TRIBUTE MIX

WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN LONDON
Tomorrow is a big night for events, whilst Elvee is spinning in Oxford I'll be hitting the Jazz cafe with the full Deviation crew..
Jazz Cafe is going to be crazy as this is the first London show Jay Electronica has ever done. Benji is the supporting DJ on the night alongside soon to be superstar Fatima and one of the finest UK Hip-hop Mcs Klashnekoff. Check the promo video below:
